If you have been following along then you know that I share my outfits throughout the week and post them all at the end of the week. So here it is, another episode of What I've Been Wearing this Week.
Sweater: JCrew Factory I Similar skirt: Nordstrom I Similar shoes: Target I Similar purse: Zac Zac Posen I Scarf: Shein I Necklace: Loft
This my be my favorite outfit not only over the week but in a while. It is such a happy outfit with all the bright colors and the puppies. This skirt I got at the end of summer from Target so it is gone now but I found a similar version. This purse is from JCpenney but no longer available but found another option on Amazon. I posted this on a monday mainly because mondays are the time that need the most uplifting and bright colors and puppies are so uplifting and happy. I definitely and feeling some spring vibes in this outfit. I am not ready to accept winter and ready for spring. Maybe more vibes I put out there the quicker spring will come. Just maybe....
Sweater: Loft Outlet I Similar skirt: Nordstrom I Similar shoes: Dillards
I realize that with snow on the ground this outfit, especially the shoes, may not be the smartest option. When I took this picture it was a few degrees warmer. Now the weather is barely supposed to be making it past the 20s. Ridiculous! If you pair this outfit with a pair of boots instead then you will for sure be set for the cold. Plus, the skirt is velvet so it will be a bit warmer. The one I am wearing is actually really old but I paired a very similar option from Halogen at Nordstrom. The embellishment on this sweater is so fun! It is so pretty and the sweater would be great layered as well over a cute button down. But like I said maybe if I keep posting spring ready outfits then Mother Nature will take notice and grant me this wish....
Cardigan: Target I Striped Sweater: JCrew Factory I Jeans: Loft (sold out but similar ones HERE) I Mules: Kohl's I Earrings: Dawn Graham Designs
This sweater is a great layering piece. It comes in different colors and currently part of the clearance items at JCrew Factory. It is great under a cardigan or put a button down underneath. I really wish these jeans weren't sold out but I am one of the lucky few that was able to pick to find them while they were on sale but an extra 50% off! The sale is still going o but I haven't been ab;e to find these jeans anymore. The embroidery on the bottom of the cuff is just so darling and such a great little touch. I paired this sweater with a cardigan sweater. This cardigan has been my favorite so far. It is so warm and so comfortable. The stripes of the sweater is actually navy blue so I paired it with these adorable blue mules, because they are just oh so darling!
(From left to right) Striped cardigan: American Eagle I Striped turtleneck: JCrew I Striped Henley: American Eagle I Waffle knit tee: American Eagle I Red striped sweater: JCrew Factory
Sweater weather is in full force. It is really getting cold out and it is time for lots of warm layers. I have recently been stocking up on some great sweaters at some great prices in different colors. One has to stay prepared, right? Just because it is freezing cold out doesn't mean you can't look cute! I found some great deals on sweaters over at American Eagle. JCrew and JCrew Factory has also been a go-to for me to pick up adorable sweaters. The Loft, Land's End, Target, Gap, and Old Navy are other options to find some great sweaters at great prices. Now that the holidays are over the stores are trying to make room for their spring merchandise. You can find winter items on clearance with extra savings. There is still tons of time left of winter (unfortunately) so you can still find loads of time to wear your new finds!
Cardigan: Target I Ruffled flannel: JCrew Factory I Similar Jeans: Loft Outlet I Shoes: Target
What you probably can't notice about this flannel is that the front is ruffled. It is so adorable. The fabric is nice and thick and it is so warm. I often wear this cutie alone but it works great under cardigans The fabric is nice and thick so not only does it keep me warm but I don't necessarily need a tank underneath if I don't want. There are some days during the week, especially with this little munchkin, that I need to keep my outfit simple. This top is just that! It pairs so well yet is great alone. It doesn't need alot of fuss and you can still look cute and put together.
Shirt: JCrew Factory I Similar Jeans: Loft Outlet I Shoes: Target I Bag: Amazon
This pintuck top is just everything. It has a comfortable flowiness to it. I love the color. It is a navy blue with an orange stripe pattern. It is a great versatile top. It is great alone but also great to wear under cardigans or a jacket. It is perfect with jeans but you can also wear with a skirt or with a nice pair of dress pants. I paired it with loafers but really any shoe would work. It is just a great, comfortable, sturdy shirt.
