So where I live it is across the street from an Arboretum. The Morton Arboretum to be exact (if you are familiar with the Chicago area), thus there are alot of trees. We live in an older neighborhood with lots of mature trees and good size lots. We also have alot of wildlife. I enjoy seeing the animals except when my dogs want to chase the rabbits or squirrels, I have to move a scared baby possum, or my dogs get skunked. Also, the wildlife likes to eat everything! We have bought pumpkins for the front stoop and eventually the squirrels or other critters come and eat them and it becomes a rotted mess. It is even worse if the pumpkin gets carved. Therefore, I am on the hunt for other pumpkin decoration options that can be used for possible indoor use as well, super cute, and something easy and even fun for kids if you want to include them as well. First up is glitter pumpkins. This may be my favorite because it is just so pretty and super easy. You can spray a pumpkin and roll it in glitter and done. It may be the messiest of the options but if you do it outside or garage it may not be as bad. Seriously, how gorgeous is this for inside. Maybe you are hosting Thanksgiving? This would be an inexpensive table centerpiece. If you wanted to use them outside, I can only imagine the way they would glisten in the sun. I found the idea through https://www.twosisterscrafting.com/diy-glitter-pumpkins/. How adorable are these mummy pumpkins? I found them at https://cdn.onecrazyhouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/pumpkin-mummies.jpg and they are just gauze with little eyes glued on. Adorable!!! Most of us have old buttons laying around and pretty much never or will never be used. Well here is your chance to use them! You can glue buttons on and make a word or picture and tie a cute bow on top. Well turn your pumpkin into a Mr. Pumpkin Head! https://cdn.onecrazyhouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/mr-potato-head-pumpkins.jpg How gorgeous is this??? You can add flowers to a pumpkin and make it a beautiful centerpiece! http://www.proflowers.com/blog/how-to-dress-up-pumpkins-with-flowers?clickid=&cvosrc=affiliate.cj.3662453&cjevent=2690f5c6c1e611e881c2014a0a24060f
