That country feeling...

When I bought this skirt I felt it had very much a country vibe. I loved the floral print and the ruffle bottom. These are all very feminine features I adore in my clothes. This is the kind of skirt I pictured walking in a beautiful field of flowers 🌸. I also envisioned wearing this skirt with boots which brought me to realize this would be a perfect fall transition piece. What I mean by fall transition is the time mostly in September when school starts, pumpkin spice everything is starting to pop up and fall decor emerges in preparation for Halloween, but at the same time it’s still warm out and still feels like summer. It’s a transitional time between summer and fall. This skirt is perfect for that. It has the look of summery flowers but is still perfect with booties. Pair it with a short or long sleeve tee, a button down, or even a jean jacket. I paired this look with a striped button down and tied at the waist for an extra country feel.
