Plaid Blazers for a Classic Fall Look

A plaid blazer is one of those pieces that is so classically fall.  With being able to use it to add a bit of warmth and having it be one of those pieces you can wear with anything.  Add it to a simple dress to add a fun pop of fun.  Wear it with a cute corduroy or suede skirt and a sweater.  Wear it with your favorite denim or even white jeans.  

It stays fairly warm here all year.  I don't usually invest in winter coats like I should since they are fairly rarely needed in Savannah.  A blazer or cardigan usually does a well enough job in keeping me warm on those cooler days.  Usually the colder days are in the mornings and evenings.  By mid day it is a comfortable enough temperature where the layers aren't as necessary.  

I found this blazer on sale at Talbots and just in love.  It has a pop of pink which is never wrong.  I am matching it with so many things in my closet and anxious for the cooler weather to arrive so I can take it out regularly.  Since it is still warm out I decided to pair it with this Banana Republic tie neck top.  I love how it can be tied into a little bow.  I will always gravitate toward anything that has a bow.
