The local Lord and Taylor is closing in my mall. It is very sad. I never really shopped in there before and I am not sure why because I recently have been going in there and loving it. The one good thing about the closing is that there are huge sales in the store so I am able to find great items for great prices. I went on a shoe buying spree and bought some adorable pairs, such as these. They aren't online anymore so I have linked some similar options. Does anyone else get sad when stores close, even ones you don't go in anymore? My heart broke when Toys R Us closed even though I didn't shop in there but I had memories there and remember the importance this store was with every child. I know Lord and Taylor isn't going out of business but it is still sad that one of the staples of my local mall is now gone. There is still at least a Nordstrom, Macy's and Neiman Marcus.
