Ella Dane mini diaper bag (in cotton) I JCrew top I Everlane shorts I Naturalizer shoes I Similar hat So I don't know about you but I have a love/hate relationship with diaper bags. Of course they are necessary for having a baby or multiples. The smaller the kid, the larger the amount of stuff they need. Some bags can be found in the chicest designs but nevertheless I just find them big and bulky. I haven't needed a diaper bag for a while with my oldest. She has been fully potty trained for about a year now so the only thing she comes with (except her tablet for entertainment) is a cup of juice and maybe a small snack depending on the errand and how long we are gone for. Now my youngest Claire is a different story. We still need a couple diapers and small wipes, again, depending on the errand. I usually bring a bottle and a small snack for her as well. It is not really necessary to bring a large diaper bag when we are going to be gone only a short time. I really only use the bags for school or for longer times away. I have two bags that I have been using since Aubrey was a baby. We have a standard diaper bag with a shoulder strap that also can strap on to the stroller. We also have a backpack version. They function just fine, but the issue has been bulkiness and the fact that they look like a diaper bag. I have been looking for something smaller and chicer. I also want it to function, though. I then came across Ella Dane. They are a company of moms making bags for moms. They offer stylish, modern yet functional pieces for the busy multitasking mom. They are practical. They offer regular size diaper bags, mini diaper bags (which I own), and tote bags. There are many reasons why I love this bag. First, there are tons of storage and tons of pockets. I can pack so many things in it including an insulated pocket for storage of bottles. I love it because it is stylish. I carry this bag with me all the time even when I don't have kids with me. It is perfect for everyday with multiple colors to choose from. It is also convertible. It comes with the shoulder strap or you can convert it to a backpack with the backpack straps. I love this idea. We have 2 different bags now from my first because we needed both options. It is nice to have one bag that you can have fit your lifestyle in many ways. I currently have the mini bag because as my kids get older they come with less stuff. I specifically wanted a "purse' that I can carry my own stuff but also the items my kids need like the sippy cup, bottle, snacks and a couple diapers so to have one bag for everyone's needs. The mini bag fits this need greatly! If you have multiple babies, in the newborn stage, or needing something for longer outings then the regular sized bag is probably great for you. It is bigger but still just as stylish without the look of a diaper bag. If you are a mom, you need this bag! Our kids are always going to need stuff and us mom always need to come prepared. Until it gets to the day that my children can carry their own necessities in their own bag, I need to be the holder. This is the bag that will get me through the everyday. It is the bag that will last for years to come. It is the bag that makes me look stylish and put together even during those not so chic mommy moments. My only regret? I wish I knew about this earlier! Disclaimer: This review is strictly my own and my own opinions. I was in no way compensated, sponsored, or gifted this product for my review.
