Sweater I Skirt I Similar shoes
I found this skirt the other day over at Target and am so in love. I have the same exact pink velvet skirt from the Holiday collection last year and have been in love with it and the gold is just pure magic! It is such a versatile skirt. You can dress it up if you want or dress it down a bit with a cute pair of loafers and basic sweater. Velvet is such a great fabric for the holiday but also for winter because of how warm it is. Gold is the perfect color for fall, Christmas, or even NYE. It was made popular by Rudolph with the song "Silver and Gold" and everytime I try to think of the perfect Christmas colors I think of Silver and Gold, outside of the basic red and green of course. This sweater I have been in love with for a while and ended up buying it with Kohl's cash I had. It is currently $17 with code THANKSVETS. The little pom pom detail is so cute and fun. You can also pair it with a pair of jeans and some boots, although I felt I needed a little pop of something and ended up adding a pair of leopard loafers. Add a cute blanket scarf if you want instead. It is such a great and versatile sweater. I love having pieces in my closet that can work in so many different way and the little pom poms make it not so boring. Look at the leaves on the ground. My outfit matches the leaves. How perfectly fall is this!! Now if only the weather could fall in line with that, I mean having the temps be in the low 30s with ice and some left over snow is just too much. I expect 40s and 50s this time of the year. I am not ready to completely break out my winter jacket just yet, although yesterday I saw a girl walk into target with no coat, a long sleeve tee and some flip flops with her leggings. I was freezing just looking at her. It is one thing if we lived in Florida but this is Chicago. It is expected that regular shoes become the norm this time of year. It is still freezing temps today so your footsies will get frozen! Happy Shopping
