I can't believe how much closer we are to back to school time. So in the county we live in they decided to make school online for now. My daughter is in a private preschool so it does not really effect us, but this year has really brought some changes and a new way of life.
Everyday Aubrey picks out what she wants to wear. I have ultimate veto power like if something matches horribly, but pretty much she has full say in her daily outfit. We narrow it down by whether she wants to wear a dress or regular outfit and then try to find something that matches. Aubrey really does want to match so if I say something doesn't match well she won't wear it or if I try to pick out something that she feels doesn't match then she won't wear it. The same thing with her shoes. Aubrey will pick out her shoes she wants to wear each day. It has been fun to watch her get into fashion, picking out her own clothes and getting herself dressed and trying to be independent. She is really becoming a fashionista. She enjoys getting new clothes. Wearing a dress is always a super easy option. It doesn't require much thought in the matching of things. Aubrey has really enjoyed wearing dresses, getting her hair put up nicely, and is becoming the ultimate girly-girl. She is becoming just like her mommy. We recently found this adorable dress at our local Belk. The embroidery is so pretty but I love the extra details of the button back and the flower in the front. Plus the gingham print is too sweet. It is the perfect little southern belle dress. We are really trying to fit in! Today I am sharing our favorite options for embroidered dresses. Embroidery always adds that bit of extra detail. It can be bold or it can be delicate. ![]()
