So I decided to start doing things a little differently in my format in that I will do things differently, mainly for time management purposes. I will do a weekly roundup of the outfits I have posted on Instagram that week. The first one will be a weekend version of the holiday outfits I posted from the weekend.
The Holidays are fast approaching (only 2 weeks, can you believe it?!). Maybe you are still in search of that perfect dress to wear to your Christmas festivities? I have scoured the internet to find the best, cutest, affordable options. Below you will find my picks.
12/9/2018 0 Comments Review of my Land's End purchasesRecently I feel like I have been spending all my free time at Land's End. They are seriously the go-to place for adorable basics and great cozy items. Their prices are great and their pieces are of the utmost quality. I want to share a rundown of my most recent purchases and review them as well (hint: everything is positive) This Tote is my new everyday bag. It is so roomy with tons of great pouches for lots of storage. It is lightweight and super durable. The pattern is my favorite, so perfect for the holidays but it comes in so many prints. One of the best things about Land's End is their ability to monogram their items. This bag would be perfect as a gift but of course it is fine to just keep for yourself as well... This little pouch fits so nicely inside. Not only is it great because it matches but it also helps organize some extra items so well. I love the quality of these items. This will take me well through the rest of the season, until the spring when they bring out their new prints! If you are looking for a warm, comfortable dress for the winter then look no further. This dress feels like a soft pair of PJs. The fabric is so nice and thick and warm and has a great knee length, I paired it with this adorable pair of bow mules by LC Lauren Conrad, but it would be great with a pair of brown or nude boots. I will probably be living in this dress for the rest of winter. Scarf: Lands End I Bag: Lands End I Coat: Nordstrom I Shoes: Target My first Land's End purchase this year was this scarf. This scarf is so super soft. It seriously feels like cashmere. I have been wearing this cutie every day. It is the perfect classic look for my pea coat. I just love how warm it is, the width is perfect and the length is spot on. There isn't anything I do not like about it. A basic turtleneck is a must have in every wardrobe. This turtleneck is a great versatile piece. I go up one size because it is a shaped top and I like a tad looser fit. It is great alone but it is also perfect under sweaters, cardigans or coats. It comes in tons of patterns and colors. Turtleneck: Lands End I Similar sweater vest: Venus I Jeans: Loft Outlet I Shoes: Target I Bag: Lands End
Happy Shopping! 12/8/2018 0 Comments Let's hear it for that cozy livingWhen it becomes winter and cold, the only thing I want to feel is warm and cozy. I have become inspired lately for that cozy living. I also have been interested in starting up reading again. I used to read all the time but as of lately have let it slip due to lack of time and energy. I came across these book at Target and decided to give them a try. I figured any of us can learn how to live a bit happier and more simple. I just received the books so I have yet to start reading them (so I won't give you a review) but I encourage all of you to live a happier life and if that means to read a book to help inspire you, then so be it. When I saw The Little Book of Hygge, I will admit I had no idea what this was. When I looked it up I saw that it was a Danish and Norwegian word that basically means a sense of coziness, or happiness and wellness. This sounds like something I definitely want to learn more about! I also found The Simplicity of Cozy and yes, I want to learn more! I am so excited to read more and start learning how to have that cozy life physically and mentally. One way to live a nice cozy lifestyle is by having some nice cozy items. A nice soft blanket will always make you cozy. This pretty white blanket was from Target and it is so soft and warm. It is less than $15 and would make a great gift for those cozy living lovers! Socks are another great cozy option. I found a bunch of them from Kohls all by LC Lauren Conrad. I am obsessed with all these socks! The black and pink ones are both an adorable feather crew sock and has the prettiest furry detail. They are warm and soft and are great with boots or with your coziness PJs. They come in other pretty colors as well The white ones are higher up and has the nicest heart detail that goes all the way up and a cute little pink heart on the toe. This heart cable knit crew sock also come in several other colors and are also great boot socks. They are a bit thinner than the feather socks. I am just in love with both! What's great is they are all 25% off with code HOLIDAY25.
