7/31/2018 0 Comments Return of the Gaucho pantI wasn’t sure how I felt about the comeback of the gaucho pant but when I put these on and experienced how good they felt, I was sold! ASOS always has such unique clothing they they really became the definition of street wear. Not only do I love the mint green of these pants but the fabric is super comfortable and forgiving.
They should really be paired with a heel or wedge to add some height or else this type of pant would looked flooded and make you look stumpy. This dark grey, with it already being such a neutral color really pairs well with the mint green toning the outfit down a bit and making it a little more work friendly. 7/31/2018 0 Comments How to look feminine in camo pantsCamo has become a popular trend over the past couple years and it does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. I see that camo can be a fun look for us females and really it can make us feel strong and powerful as well. Camo has a certain connotation that comes with wearing it which includes power and strength. However, I don't know about you but when I see it I also envision a traditional shoulder. Yes, women can be soldiers and can make great soldiers but the military uniform typically has a very masculine look. My concern with the camo trend is how to make it look less soldier (because I am not a soldier and don't want to take that recognition away from our actual soldiers). I do not have the mental or physical strength to be in the military. So my goal in wearing camo is in how to make it look feminine and fun.
One way I do this is by adding a nice heel or wedge to add some sexy height. When was the last time you saw a soldier wearing a heel? They were combat boots. I wear boots only if they have a heel. If you wear a flat shoe, I would pair it with a pointy toe or with some bling like crystals/jewels. I would personally try to avoid loafers or mules that have masculine qualities because it just enhances the masculine nature of a camo pattern. I paired my pants with a plain tank which on its own can look masculine but I paired it with a nice long necklace to add some extra feminine bling. I would pair my camo with some nice jewelry and a plain-ish top. It is hard to match a different pattern to a camo pattern so simple, neutral colors are best. I prefer statement necklaces, long necklaces and a nice pair of earrings. I say, whatever makes you feel strong, sexy, powerful, or overall confident is a good choice. If you feel best going in full camo gear and combat boots, then great! More power to you and I totally support your decision, but if you are looking for a way to still make it look girly, then adding those girly pieces will definitely help! Don’t mind the messy hair and PJs. Good thing she’s a cutie no matter what! I love this new cocoon cardigan I found at Target! I bought it thinking it was a sweater material when I saw it online but it’s totally not. I loved it anyways and decided to keep it. I love how it drapes and is so versatile. The tank is part of a 2/$10 deal as well. Super fun color! I also have it in white. My jeans are by Wit and Wisdom and are about a year old but if you’ve never tried this brand you need to do so now!! They are super soft, stretchy and comfy and have a flattering and flattening effect! I love the shoes I have on. They are the DV line at Target. The mini heel is a metallic silver and it is the prettiest lavender which adds a subtle but perfect pop of color. They also come in black if lavender isn’t your thing Happy Shopping 💋🛍 (Commissioned links)

I bought this last year at ASOS and it’s one of my favorite purchases. There are still several sizes available. The colors are just too pretty to pass up. The fit is a bit oversized but it is as comfy as can be. It is not scratchy and I love pairing it with black or white skinny jeans. If you don’t want the oversized fit you can size down. The winter can sometimes bring a “gloom and doom” feeling and this sweater helps to brighten up the day. The skinny jeans are Rock and a Republic from Kohl’s but they were on clearance last season when I bought them. I linked similar ones. My adorable tassel mules are still available and from Target. Another Target win!

The first pair, from Target are less than $23, super comfortable, an adorable bright pink with the sweetest bow. I absolutely love these mules and will be so pretty with skirts, dresses, or even dress pants.
The splurge is also super cute. The metallic pink is just the perfect pop of color without being too much but they are a bit more casual looking. Right now they are part of the #Nsale so they are less than $30 but normally they are close to $70. No matter which shoes you choose would be a good choice. They are both a super pretty pink, a perfect pop of color, and a comfortable option. Now is the time to buy the splurge option as they will go back up to full price soon. But seriously, I love everything about this outfit especially the price. The top and skirt are both under $15 from Target so you can get the superstar look on a broke girl's budget. The skirt will be perfect in the fall with a pair of booties and even in the winter with some tights and taller boots. It also comes in black if orange is not your thing. The earrings are also Target finds and adds a little extra elegance and fun. The scarf and clutch are both from thrift stores but I will link similar options. Similar scarf you can find . With the scarf and rest of the outfit being loud and busy I tried to tone it down with a nude heel. You can find similar options here.

And let’s just give a special shoutout to these Target sneaker mules (here). They are less than $13 and come in black and white! There is a fun bow on them, they are easy to quickly slip on and off, and they are just so comfortable that I can wear them all day without one ache and pain. A maxi dress is super easy, classy and chic. It’s one and done. You don’t have to worry about matching anything. You don’t have to worry about length. It’s simple but super comfy. This maxi comes with spaghetti straps which aren’t necessarily work friendly so I paired it with a light kimono. I bought this dress last year at Nordstrom Rack, however it came back again this year and was featured on all the bloggers because it’s just THAT GOOD!! The tropical
print of the kimono is so fun for summer, and it can almost pass as a blazer. It’s nice and thin for the summer heat but with the little sleeve it will give you a little warmth in those chilly offices. Best of all it is only $13!!! You can get kimono here. I love the blue of this dress. It’s the kind of blue that is bright and fun and is flattering on most people. You can get the maxi dress here. I paired this with a nude heel since the outfit already has a lot of color. You can get a similar heel here. Happy Shopping!! 💋🛍 7/27/2018 0 Comments That country feeling...When I bought this skirt I felt it had very much a country vibe. I loved the floral print and the ruffle bottom. These are all very feminine features I adore in my clothes. This is the kind of skirt I pictured walking in a beautiful field of flowers 🌸. I also envisioned wearing this skirt with boots which brought me to realize this would be a perfect fall transition piece. What I mean by fall transition is the time mostly in September when school starts, pumpkin spice everything is starting to pop up and fall decor emerges in preparation for Halloween, but at the same time it’s still warm out and still feels like summer. It’s a transitional time between summer and fall. This skirt is perfect for that. It has the look of summery flowers but is still perfect with booties. Pair it with a short or long sleeve tee, a button down, or even a jean jacket. I paired this look with a striped button down and tied at the waist for an extra country feel. My booties are peep toe which still gives that feeling of a sandal. This skirt is just perfect for anytime. You can find a similar shirt here. My skirt was clearance. You can find a similar one here or here.
Happy Shopping 💋🛍 7/27/2018 0 Comments Nordstrom Dupe BootiesTarget has clearance on some adorable booties. If you have been keeping track of the big #nsale going on then you will have seen that these are almost exact versions of some of the popular Nordstrom versions. I’ve seen some of the bloggers wearing very similar Steve Madden booties for nearly $90. These Target finds are less than $20 and come in 4 awesome colors. These are reminding me of some Vince Camuto booties for nearly $100. These are also less than $20 and Target! Target FTW!
