I found this scarf at a thrift store. I love thrift store shopping. It is such a great way to find some unique pieces for home and fashion that not everyone else has. I like offering something unique. I have always been this way. I like the mixing of old and new. It is how I decorated my house. I have alot of modern, shiny glitzy pieces with some vintage and antique treasures as well. The scarf is great, not just because of the color and print but I also love the size. It isn't thick and bulky like a regular scarf (so it isn't used for warmth) but it isn't too thin either. It is a nice thick fabric, feels a bit like a wool so it is perfect for the winter but really can be used all year. With a skinny scarf they are often worn long so you can leave them unwrapped or wrap it around once or maybe even twice depending on how long they are. I love the look with a button down shirt. This was totally inspired by Gal Meets Glam. If you follow her on Instagram then you know this is one of her signature looks. It is so chic and classic. It is such a put together look. I love that I can't find my scarf anywhere on the internet. I tried and looked but no go. I found a similar option (which I linked above) but it is unique and I feel unique wearing it. It is polished and professional for work as well. These ponte pants are actually very old and by Calvin Klein, however ponte pants are still popular and a great essential in any closet today. I love them because they are comfortable like a legging but can be worn with a shorter shirt since the fabric is thick like a dress pant. It is so versatile. Another must have is a classic white button down. This one is from Old Navy but it is the kind of shirt that can be worn alone or layered under sweaters or cardigans. It is a closet staple. One of my favorite things about fashion is it's ability to tell a story. I love how it can look different on everyone, how style is so personal and that it isn't a one size fits all kind of game. It is a what fits you kind of thing. This is why I think there is room for anyone in this blogger world. Not everyone is the same. Not all styles are the same so anyone can share an outfit or a piece of clothing that can inspire someone. Not all people are size 0 or 2 so those of us with a bit more curves can inspire those others that have a bit more curve. It can really be so much fun and bring so much creativity. Happy shopping
