A colorful walk in the park

One of my favorite things about Savannah is the multitude of parks.  If you go to the historic downtown part there are parks down every couple of blocks and they are all so pretty and charming. There are beautiful trees and statues.  Some have fountains or a playground.  There are always visitors there sitting on the benches enjoying the scenery.  I love to check out all the different parks, learn a little history, and enjoy the scenery.  

It can be difficult to really enjoy all aspects of the outdoors of this city with the heat and humidity so dressing in something flowy and comfortable is very important for me.  This Amazon dress is perfect for that outdoor time! It is thin but definitely not see through as there is a lining underneath.  I love how flowy it is.  It is comfortable over the baby bump, however it is NOT a maternity dress.  There is a nice stretch to the dress as well so it will still fit as I get bigger (but hopefully not too much bigger...please...).  I also feel like the flowy dresses hide my bump a little more.  I find that when I wear the nonmaternity outfits less people notice how big I am, but once I put on a maternity outfit that is form fitting around my waist people make all the comments about how pregnant I am.  

I also am in LOVE with the colorblocking of dress.  These colors are just too cute.  The top is a navy blue and the bottom is a fuscia/purple color.  If these colors aren't your thing they also have an all blue, a green, or an orange.  The dress would pair well with a silver shoe or a neutral shoe.  

I paired my dress with a blush pink espadrille wedge that I bought at Target over the spring.  These shoes are super comfortable.  What I love most about blush pink is that they are still a neutral color yet at the same time isn't as blah as wearing a nude shoe.  I like nude shoes and wear them often but sometimes I get bored with it and want a bit of color.  Blush pink it is! 

How super fun is this purse, too? It was a clearance find at Stein Mart and just couldn't resist.  The colors in the dress are similar to the colors in the purse so I find it to pair very well together.  A rainbow purse always adds that pop of fun to any outfit.  Being a mom I tend to turn more to the spacious bags for my everyday style.  I need a place to put those wipes, extra pullup or 2,  drink cup, and any other extras I may need.  Granted, I will be bringing out the diaper bag soon once the baby comes but in the meantime a larger purse is my mommy carryall.  It is better than having to carry 2 bags.
