I'll be honest. I have not been impressed with most subscription services I have come across. There are subscription services on top of subscription services and it can be daunting to navigate them all and figure out which ones are the best and which ones are worth their money to try. I've tried the makeup/beauty ones like Birchbox and Ipsy and eventually cancelled because it got to the point where I had way too much makeup and most of it all looked the same. Do we really need another subscription service being sold to us? Let me share something with you. It is a subscription service that I have discovered that is called Bump Boxes. Whether you are pregnant with your first child or any latter or just know someone who is pregnant and looking for an amazing gift, Bump Boxes are amazing! With baby Claire coming 10 days early, I was not really able to enjoy all the products in the box to the fullest. That does not mean I was not impressed with the Bump Box and all that it offered.
What exactly is a Bump Box? Bump Box is a monthly subscription box. Each box includes 5 products handpicked for your pregnancy (however if the baby arrives during the subscription then the boxes will include products handpicked for baby). You can get a month-to-month subscription or do a 6-9-or-12 month subscription. Each box features products that are free from harsh chemicals and safe for you and baby.
When you are out there shopping and registering for gifts for your baby, it is often the case that moms forget about themselves. They forget to find the items that help them care for themselves. Bump Boxes is a surefire way to help you care for yourself while also caring for your little one at the same time. We all know the things we need to stay away from in our diet (like alcohol, certain fish high in mercury, lunch meat, cut down on caffeine, sushi, plus of course we all have at least one person who constantly "gently" reminds us of what we shouldn't be ingesting). The doctor is good about telling us what medications we need to stay away from. Did you know there are certain skincare items that we should stay away from to protect our baby? I had no idea because there is just way too much information! This company helps to find those products and sends them onto the mommies. Thank you!
I am super impressed with the products I received in my box. The products are all great and superb quality. What did I get? First, I got an Aden & Anais swaddle blanket. Aden & Anais is a a great brand that provides high quality, durable, and soft fabrics for baby to love. I am in love with the black and white pattern of the blanket. A great neutral that matches just about anything.
Next, I got the Ah Goo Baby plush travel diaper pad. I was so super excited about this one because we don't have a travel diaper pad right now. The one we had for Aubrey got stinky and dirty so we threw it away. This one is just perfect for the baby. Who would want to lay on a flat pad on a hard, dirty surface? Not me and I do not want that for my baby. This pad is super soft and plush with a memory foam insert. It is water repellant and machine washable which is perfect for any little accidents, which my little one has a lot! These two products are worth the box subscription alone but there is much more!
When I was pregnant my legs and feet were swollen. They were huge when I was pregnant with Aubrey. Not so much this time with Claire but there was still some discomfort. Swollen legs, ankles and feet causes some pain and discomfort. Even putting my feet up often did not fully help. I received Promise Leg Ease Cooling Spray. You spray it onto the skin and it helps with the inflammation and provides cooling to soothe sensitive skin. It uses natural ingredients so you don't have to fear about anything unsafe getting to your baby.
I also received Bella B foaming face wash. The great thing about this is that it helps with oily skin and blemishes but is free of benzyl peroxide or other ingredients that are not recommended during or after pregnancy. With the adjustment of hormones during and after pregnancy, my skin often fluctuated in its quality and I tended to have these random breakouts. I am so excited to be able to use this face wash, be able to feel comfort that the ingredients are organic and safe being that I am a nursing mommy.
Last, but not least I was sent Birds and Bees Teas Ripe and Ready tea. The tea is meant to be used during the last couple weeks of pregnancy and a few days after delivery. It is caffeine free and is meant to help the uterus recover. It is an herbal tea and has a very delicious flavor.
These were the products I got THIS month. They change each month and are unique to your needs. Each of the products were great, but what I love most was that products were sent that I would have never have found on my own, never knew existed but also needed. A spray for my swollen feet? Genious! A face wash without Benzoil Peroxide because it is unsafe for baby? I didn't even know this! A tea to help with womb recovery? So easy and so necessary! I don't have the time to research every one of these products or find the natural solution for every one of my ailments. Bump Boxes have done it for me, and you, and all the pregnant mommies out there. I love how the box as a whole provides great support to the whole mother. It helps with comfort of the mom and helps her from the inside and outside. It helps support caring for the baby. This box is an amazing deal, super easy, and is a must have for any mom. It is amazing that they make boxes unique for you. When I was contacted about my box, I was asked if I wanted a box for a girl, boy, or gender neutral. Mommies, you definitely need to get this box for yourself, but hey it is Christmas time! Have any pregnant mommies on your list? Get them a box! They will love the uniqueness of the products. Thank you to Bump Boxes for gifting me the product. All opinions are my own.
