I always feel like September is one of those in between seasons. it can still be hot and bring feelings of summer but it also brings that feelings of fall. Pumpkin Spice everything starts coming out. School goes back into session. It starts bringing that feelings of fall.
My skin care and makeup routine gets adjusted with the seasons and weather. Colder weather brings greater need for moisturizing. Today I am sharing my favorite beauty finds this month. These products will help with increasing some moisturization for the colder weather to come but still help keep things looking glowing and radiant for the summer weather still lingering.

Doctor Rogers Restore Healing Balm
When the air starts getting cold or when I am a bit dehydrated, my cuticles and nails are one of the first areas to be effected. Dry, breaking nails and unhealthy looking cuticles are usually signs that I need some more moisturizing. Often my dry cuticles leads to breaking, peeling, and can cause some pain. I use a cuticle cream or oil to help keep them moisturized and prevent the cracking. When it gets to the point that they are bleeding and sore, I like to use the Restore Healing Balm. This balm works wonders! It helps heals wounds in a fraction of the time. It is great for everyday cuts, scrapes, and even tattoos. It is basically a miracle balm. I love to keep it in the house for everything multipurpose but mostly use it for those cuticles. I also love that it is a clean beauty product. I love that it is nontoxic and safe for even kids to use.
The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling solution
My skin has not been doing so well lately. I believe part of it is from wearing the masks in the humidity. Another part I believe is hormonal. I have the Nexaplon injection for birth control and this is new for me. Prior to that I was always using the pill. I think this has had an effect on my skin. To combat some of this congestion and recent breakouts, I have been trying to add some peels to the mix. I recently started using The Ordinary's AHA/BHA peeling solution. I use it twice a week for 10 minutes at a time. It really helps to exfoliate for brighter, more even skin and goes deep down to help clear out some pore congestion. Since using this, I have noticed a decrease in breakouts. When I do get them, they are smaller and heal quicker. My skin looks much smoother and clearer.
RMS Wild With Desire in Magic Hour
I am a big fan of RMS's Wild With Desire lipsticks. The colors are bold, smoothe, creamy, and last for a good amount. Now with fall approaching I start looking for some brown and nude colors to wear on my lips. I found the Magic Hour color and love it. It is a great brownish nude (it is featured in the picture above). It is a great color for so many skin tones. It is a great mix of brown and nude. The description is called a "muted mauve" so it has a hint of pinky rose. It will be a great color for fall to match with all your earth toned clothes.
Biossance 100% Squalane oil
I have really been more and more loving the products I have tried by Biossance. Not only are they clean and sustainable but they are effective. Recently I have been adding oil into my nighttime routine. It is an effective way to increase your hydration. You put it on after your moisturizer to add a barrier and seal in the moisture. I really love this 100% squalane oil. It is light and doesn't leave an oily or greasy residue. The great thing about it is that it is multipurpose. I use it everynight on my face but you can also use it on your body and even in your hair. When I feel my hair is a little dry and in need of some TLC, I add a little to the ends of my hair. It adds some extra hydration.
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid mask
As stated previously, a good mask has been an intricate part of my nightly routine. To combat some of my acne, I have added this salicylic acid mask. This has really helped keep by breakouts at bay, heal them quicker. My skin has looked so much clearer. I use it twice a week for 10 minutes at a time. I don't think I could go without this mask.
Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer
What I have recently learned is the importance of probiotics in your skincare. I take it everyday as a supplement but recently been trying products that have it added. It is really effective for redness, acne flareups, or skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. I have recently been using this Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel moisturizer. I love how moisturizing this is without being heavy. Since it is a gel, it is nice and lightweight as it goes on but makes my skin feel very soft. My acne flare ups have been at bay and not as red or big as they once were. My face looks calmer, feels smooth and soft. With it still being hot and humid I don't like to wear anything too heavy. My face can get dry but not overdry so I don't want to wear anything too heavy especially with wearing these masks. I wear this both AM and PM and love it. You can shop all these items below:
