A white tee is one of those closet staples. There are endless ways that it can be styled. The versatility is what makes it a must have item. It can work so well on it’s own in the spring and summer but layer so well under sweaters and jackets for the cooler months.
I recently picked up one of the JCrew Vintage tees. I love these tees. They are super comfortable, come in a variety of colorways, and have a nice breathable fabric. I love the fit. They aren’t form fitted. I don’t really like form fitted tees but I also don’t want them too baggy either. These are the perfect in between fit.
Today I have put together multiple ways to style a basic tee. Sometimes just a small addition or tweak will completely alter a look. These styles will work for the current cold weather but will also be a great option for the upcoming spring.
White tee I Skirt I Ballet flats
I love this classic spring look. You can wear this outfit with a pair of ballet flats or a pair of sneakers. It is an easy, breezy, feminine look that is also a classic. I love the faux wrap look on this cute skirt.
The addition of a scarf can take the outfit to a whole new level. I love to add a silk scarf for a nice pop of color. This one is an Etsy find for less than $40!.
Swapping out the skirt for the jeans is a great option for a more relaxed look. These Everlane jeans are ones that I wear almost every time and have had them for a couple years. I just love them! They have yet to change their shape and work well with almost everyting in my closet. They are a classic closet item!
Adding a cute cardigan is a great way for those chilly days or nights. I have a similar Gap cardigan that I got last year and I still wear it all the time! It has been the perfect layering piece.
Adding a blazer takes a look to a more professional level. This is a great option for a casual friday look. I found this linen blazer that will be a great spring option as the weather transition. It is a nice breezy option. These loafers are one of my favorite pair of shoes. I have them in several colors and have been adding a new color to my collection every year.
