I slightly remember the days when wearing white after Labor Day was a taboo! Thank goodness that is no longer the case because I love white all year long. Whether it is a true white or an off-white or ivory, there is something so classic and chic about a white outfit.
Lately I have been really wearing a lot of monochromatic outfits. If you have been following my feed you may have noticed alot of outfits of blue, pink, red, etc. White or ivory is no different. I love pairing these together.
This style is very easy to pull off at the office. A power suit will always be an office signature style, however it is appropriate to wear a sweater and pair of dress pants or trousers. I don’t know about where you work but where I am, the office is often very cold and the only thing I want to do is wear as many layers or sweaters as possible to stay warm.
I have had these Talbot’s pant’s for a couple years and wear them consistently due to their comfort, quality, fit, and that they are not sheer like some white pants. Unfortunately, these exact ones are no longer available but I have linked similar pants in a fit I also own HERE. This version I have in their tan color and also wear them frequently. I have always been able to rely on Talbot’s for a consistent sizing and quality work pant.
An ivory or white sweater is also one that I wear often whether with white pants or alone. It is a great layering piece under jackets or over collared shirts and will always be a classic closet staple. I usually add one each year to my collection and I get my wear in.
